The delighted girls of UCLA`s Delta Nu sorority, led by Margot, Serena and Pilar, celebrate Warner Huntington III`s engagement to his cheeky, sweet and surprisingly blonde sister president, Elle Woods, who worries about finding the perfect dress for the occasion. As soon as she acquires the dress of her dreams, She goes to dinner with Warner, where he tells her that he needs someone more serious and breaks up with her. She is devastated and pouts for twelve days, but decides to sue Warner at Harvard Law School to show him that she can be serious. With the help of Delta Nu Sister Kate, she is studying for LSAT. Instead of writing a personal essay, She bursts into Harvard`s admissions offices, which are supported by a group of cheerleaders. She is accepted after revealing that she is motivated by love. Elle`s snobbish classmates disapprove of her clothes, and the only person willing to help her is law professor Emmett Forrest. However, he can`t protect her from the bloodthirsty Professor Callahan in class. Callahan expels the ill-prepared Elle from the classroom at the suggestion of her classmate Vivienne Kensington, who happens to be Warner`s new girlfriend. This “tragedy” evokes the apparitions of the Sisters of Delta Nu, who, as a Greek choir, are only visible and audible to Her and tell her to remain positive. She, who decides to be blonde, decides to become brunette. She goes to the Hair Affair salon, where she meets the beautician Paulette, who tells her that when she is downstairs, she puts on her favorite CD and dreams of Ireland. In the living room, Vivienne Elle unexpectedly invites you to a costume party.
Paulette sends Her with a suit for the party, her positivism and her blonde hair still intact. * Our system only offers monologues or suggested songs for selected characters if we have appropriate monologues and song information in our database. Three years later, it is the best in its class. Paulette tells the audience that she doesn`t brag about her farewell status, so she decided to allow Paulette to play “Where Are They Now” during her speech. Paulette says Enid practices family law, trained Vivienne for the Peace Corps and left Warner and is pursuing a modeling career. Callahan ran for governor but was defeated, and his wife hired Emmett to settle their divorce. Paulette married Kyle, had two children and is pregnant with a third. They live in Worcester, Massachusetts, and Paulette has bought a new salon. At the end of her studies, Elle Emmett proposes, and Emmett accepts. Later in the evening, interns celebrate Elle`s skills in Callahan`s office. Warner finds it problematic to call a finely settled awareness of homosexuality a legal victory.
Callahan, annoyed by Warner`s behavior, sends Warner out of the room for coffee. Callahan fires Emmett and the other interns, but asks her to stay for a few moments. Callahan forcibly kisses Elle, who slaps him in the face. In return, Callahan fires her. Warner and Vivienne both saw the kiss through the door of the room. Warner turns away angrily and leaves Vivienne as the only witness to the slap in the face. After Callahan leaves, Warner walks into the office and laughs at Elle, but Vivienne tells her to keep her mouth shut and they both leave. A defeated Elle prepares to return home, although Emmett asks her to stay and eventually realizes that he is in love with her. We only offer suggested monologues or audition songs for a single character if our system finds content that matches a character`s characteristics. Results may vary. The second act begins with fitness queen Brooke Wyndham and the training video of her fitness team, watched by Elle, Callahan, Emmett, Vivienne, Warner and Enid.
Callahan tells the legal team that Brooke is accused of murdering her billionaire husband. The “video” then turns into a prison scene in which Brooke drags the inmates into a fitness frenzy. Brooke then privately tells Elle her alibi that she has undergone liposuction, but makes Her promise not to tell anyone. Due to Elle`s loyalty to their client and their refusal to provide the alibi, Elle and Emmett are rejected by the group. To cheer up Emmett and increase his chances of impressing Callahan, she gives him a facelift. Outgoing fundraiser at the Mint Theater Company New York, NY Back to the hair business, she gets a manicure when Kyle, the sexy guy from UPS, goes to the salon to deliver a package to Paulette. Paulette is in total admiration. As he leaves, Pilar, Serena and Margot are called by Paulette`s incredible “Bend and Snap” as they pick up the UPS package. The sorority girls tell Paulette to use the “Bend and Snap” on Kyle, but when she does, she accidentally breaks his nose. When she goes to the party as Playboy Bunny, she soon realizes that she has been cheated on by Vivienne, but bravely seeks Warner to win him back, leaving him unimpressed. She flees the party to meet Emmett, who struggles to understand Her`s love problems.
He lets Elle evaluate her priorities until she realizes that it`s her obsession with Warner that`s keeping her from earning her respect. Freed from her need to please Warner, she beats him in a class debate. She then helps Paulette in a way that proves that she is beginning to understand the law. Warner and Vivienne win two of Callahan`s coveted internships, and Warner suggests Vivienne on the spot right in front of Elle. Vivienne agrees, with a kiss and a yes. Before She`s heart can break, Emmett shows her the list of internships. Under the names vivienne, Warner and his classmate Enid Hoops is the name Elle Woods, which excites him. Legally Blonde is a musical based on the novel by Amanda Brown and the 2001 film adaptation.
She goes to the hair affair to say goodbye to Paulette, but before she can leave, Vivienne and Enid convince Her otherwise. She throws away her lawyer`s navy blue suits, puts on a pink dress (or the claim of a pink lawyer) and leads a parade through the courtroom. They meet Kyle on the way, who takes a liking to Paulette and turns out to be the Irishman of her dreams, which leads to Irish dance overall. Back at the trial, Brooke fires Callahan and hires Elle. Brooke`s daughter-in-law, Chutney, goes to the witness stand and her testimony is devastating, after getting out of the shower she saw that Brooke was covered in her father`s blood. After Chutney states that she received a permanent on the day of the murder, she realizes a flaw in Chutney`s alibi and suggests that the entire court should be moved to the crime site – the bathroom where the murder took place. As a demonstration, she asks Paulette to give Enid a permanent and asks Enid to take a shower when entering the crime scene. Based on her knowledge of hair care, Elle`s demonstration is successful when Enid comes out of the shower with her hair completely flattened – showing that the chutney could not have showered immediately after a permanent because her permanent was still intact. Under Elle`s intense interrogation, Chutney accidentally confesses that she killed her father because she thinks it was Brooke. Chutney is arrested and Brooke is released. Warner proposes to Elle after being abandoned by Vivienne.
She gently refuses, pretending to have been changed by the experience. In the courtroom, we see Nikos, Brookes Poolboy, questioned by the D.A. about his “love affair” with Brooke. After doing the Bend and Snap in front of Nikos and not attracting attention, she is convinced that Nikos is gay. Callahan and his teammates don`t believe her, but just think he`s just European. Emmett decides to interview Nikos on the stand and manages to drag Nikos and say that his friend`s name is Carlos. Nikos quickly reveals that he misunderstood the word “friend” as “best friend.” Carlos, Nikos` friend, appears at the end of the courtroom, is fed up with his friend`s closed nature and proclaims Nikos` homosexuality. At the end of the song, Nikos confesses that he is indeed gay and European. Harvard law student and multimillionaire. Winner of a Fulbright.
